    Alban Lefranc

    Alban Lefranc reinvented the lives of Fassbinder (Fassbinder, la mort en fanfare ; Rivages, 2012, Rivages poche, 2019), Mohamed Ali (Le Ring invisible, Verticales, 2013), Nico (YVous n'étiez pas là, Verticales, 2009 ), Maurice Pialat (L'amour la gueule ouverte, Helium / Actes Sud, 2015). His books have been translated into several languages.

    His new novel, L'Homme qui brûle, was published in August 2019 at Rivages.

    He also writes for radio and theater (Table Rase, Steve Jobs, directed by Robert Cantarella, with Nicolas Maury, created in 2020). Table Rase and Steve Jobs are published by Éditions Quartett.

    In 2000, he founded the plurilingual literary magazine La mer gelée, published since 2015 by Le nouvel Attila. He is also a translator of German (including Peter Weiss and Fassbinder).
