Marie-Caroline Hominal trained as a dancer at the Janet Held Studio in Montreux, then at the Swiss Ballettberufschule in Zurich and at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. During her last year at the Rambert School, she joined the National Youth Dance Company.
In 2002, she began her personal work using video, revealing a colorful world where boredom and loneliness are omnipresent. Her artistic practice includes text, music, dance, performance and video. Her projects are signed under several pseudonyms MCH, Silver, Flying Girl, Miss MCH.
Marie-Caroline Hominal regularly collaborates with other artists; François Chaignaud with whom she was created Duchesses (2009), Clive Jenkins, Cristian Vogel, Kim Boninsegni, David Hominal and Delphine Coindet.
Since 2013, she has been working on miniature performances such as Hotel Oloffson (2013), The Triumph of Fame (2013), The Last Dance (2015) and the Silver Performance Concert (2014). Patricia Poses of The Pop Machine (2011) and Ballet (2014).
She has danced for the Basel Tanztheater, Irene Tassembedo, Gisele Vienna, Gilles Jobin, La Ribot, Marco Berrettini (the Ifeel2 duo) and she participated in the projects Human Writes by William Forsythe and B.O.B by Dick Wong.
