    Amos Dishon

Amos Dishon lives and works in Geneva. At a very young age, he fell into the world of show business by participating in a dance-theater workshop at the Théâtre les Montreurs d'Images in Geneva. After brief stints on stage, he was drawn to the other side of the curtain with his first lighting management at the age of 16.

Passionate about technology, he finished in 2002 his diploma of technician ES (higher education) in electronics, obtained after a CFC of audio-video electronics technician. He started his technical career in the broadcasting and television industry, travelling the world to cover events as varied as large-scale political summits, world sporting events, natural disasters and concert and show broadcasts.

Later, as a freelancer, he returned to his first love in the performing arts industry. There, he collaborates as a video and lighting director with dance and theater companies, locally and on tour. He also welcomes many artists from all over the world in Geneva's venues as well as for festivals.

In 2017, he enthusiastically began teaching video to 3rd year apprentices at La Manufacture. There, he discovered his passion for transmitting his knowledge to future stage technicians. Over the years, he developed his course material condensing the knowledge acquired throughout his years in the field.

At the same time, in 2017, he started as a technician at the University of Geneva, where he discovered new facets of audiovisual technology. He took the opportunity to perfect his knowledge in sound, computer networks, home automation programming and video projection.
