    Liliana Heimberg

After studying theater pedagogy at the Schauspiel Akademie in Zurich and the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, Liliana Heimberg devoted several years to a career as an actress and playwright, most notably at Zurich's Theater Neumarkt. Later, her commitment to theater led her to take over the management of an independent theater company.

In 2023, Liliana Heimberg wrote a series of 14 radio plays entitled "1848 - an incredible story" for the Parliamentary Services. She produced this series as a tour along the original sites in Bern's Old Town, offering a unique immersive experience.

Alongside her artistic achievements, Liliana Heimberg has also shared her expertise as a lecturer in project development and direction, taking on the role of Director of the Master of Theatre Pedagogy and 3rd-Cycle-Fellowship program within the Theatre Department at Zurich University of the Arts. Since 2007, she has been a key figure as director or scientific collaborator in various projects supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Wissenschaftsverbund der Vierländerregion Bodensee, focusing in particular on aspects of cultural mediation.
