    Joachim Wicht

Cultural ambassador, freestyle dancer, choreographic artist, teacher and psychologist Msc from Fribourg.

He has been passionate about music and movement since childhood, and began his career as a self-taught dancer. His love of street and club dance then took him around the world, notably to Japan, the United States, Senegal and France, where he developed his knowledge and skills with pioneers and renowned dancers.

In particular, he joined the 2022 edition of the international professional training course ‘Autour des Danses d'Afrique Australe’ at the Ecole des Sables in Toubab Dialaw, then in 2023 obtained the certificate of ‘Passeur Culturel en Danses Hip-Hop’ from the Centre de Formation Danse de la ville de Cergy. He then studied the Functional Analysis of the Body in Danced Movement (AFCMD) approach with Olivier Lefrançois, whom he follows in his work.

Active in the field of transmission for many years, he works with various organisations - training centres, dance schools, associations, schools and universities - in Switzerland and abroad. Since 2023, he has also been organising workshops on teaching tools for dance schools and training courses.

n the performing arts, he has taken part in a number of productions, including HOMMage (2019) by the Teki Tekua company, Trajectoires Improbables Y = F(x) (2022) by Fabrice ‘Fabbreezy’ Labrana and Loudest Silence (2024) by the Tamara Mancini company.

A member of the CludaCo (Club Dance Connection) association based in Berne, and co-founder of the ‘Wednesday's Jam Sessions’ platform, his main aim is to bring together the different dance communities and rise through togetherness.
