Abrecht Delphine
Delphine Abrecht is a researcher and playwright. After studying literature and political science, she worked as a doctoral assistant at the University of Lausanne from 2012 to 2017, where she wrote her thesis on the relationship between audience and performance in contemporary theater.
She then continued her research on the relationship between art and audience in a more concrete and cooperative way, between research projects at La Manufacture– Haute école de théâtre de Suisse romande (“action,” “spectator ludens,” “performative card games,” “collective tools project,” and “hypertext”) and theatrical works that were often playful and interactive (L'espace et nous or Boucle d'or 202x, with the Cabinet créatif; invisible, Virus, and Twist, with the company yan duyvendak / dreams come true; Hulul, On a promis de ne pas vous toucher and Farwest, with the Zooscope company; and D’amour et d’eau fraîche and L’air de rien, with the hichmoul pilon company).
In 2023, she created her own project, S'entretenir à l'Arsenic, an immersive project that puts the audience at the center. She continues to work with many artists on a variety of projects, often with a playful and socially engaged dimension at their core.
