Vernissage "Becoming Sensitive: Practicing and Thinking the Stage", in the presence of the author, Julie-Kazuko Rahir, and artists Anne Delehaye (dancer, actress, choreographer, and Alexander Technique practitioner) and Aurélien Patouillard (actor and theatre director)

    Wednesday 1st if April 2026

    18h

    La Manufacture - Foyer

As part of her long-term research, Julie-Kazuko Rahir, an actress and theatre researcher, develops practical tools to support the actor’s craft—tools that any reader can make use of. She examines the vocabulary commonly used in rehearsal rooms and reflects on the recurring challenges faced by performers, while taking into account space, time, and the movement of thought and emotions. Her approach, informed by the somatic practice of the Moshé Feldenkrais Method, makes it possible to observe multiple changes within oneself and in one’s relationship to others.

This vernissage hosts a performative conference by Anne Delehaye and Aurélien Patouillard.

"Becoming Sensitive: Practicing and Thinking the Stage" is available in bookstores or on the website of Éditions B42.
